Cranfield School of Management is launching a new Skills Accelerator Programme designed to help leaders develop the critical skills and capabilities needed to navigate today’s changing business landscape.

The intensive five-day development programme runs this summer and offers a hands-on learning experience that blends world-class academic insights with practical problem-solving capabilities. It is designed to give executives the confidence and strategic mindset required to drive sustainable success within their organisations.

Rapid changes in business landscape demand new skills

“We’re expecting more changes in the business environment over the next five years than we’ve seen in the past 50, as technology transforms the demands of the workplace,” said Professor Lynette Ryals OBE, Deputy-Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Cranfield School of Management. “Leaders will need a different set of skills to respond to these big challenges and the faster rate of change in their business world. Cranfield is proud to be at the forefront of new thinking in leadership, offering a programme that helps talented executives build personal, strategic, resilient and practical skills.”

Immersive experience with world-class experts

Cranfield School of Management is proactively addressing business skills gaps, helping to foster leadership resilience and develop agile professional leaders.

Programme Director, Dr Steph Russell added: “Cranfield's Skills Accelerator Programme has been designed to provide an immersive experience that equips leaders with the skills they need today while building the confidence and strategic mindset to navigate the future.

“Through expert-led sessions with our world-class faculty, hands-on problem-solving, and real-world business application, participants walk away with the tools to make an immediate and lasting impact - for themselves and their organisations.”

Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), successful completion of the programme results in a CMI award in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice and Foundation Chartered Manager (fCMgr) status.
