A new, free, online resource hub for businesses has been rapidly developed by Cranfield School of Management. With information and advice from experts, it is aimed at helping companies and individuals navigate the new, challenging global environment presented by the COVID-19 crisis.
The hosts videos, podcasts, live events and articles on all aspects of leadership and management. Topics include business resilience, how to adapt, leadership for these unprecedented times, cyber resilience, the future of work and HR.
“Our insights, reflections and expertise are all being shared for free to help businesses respond to this new normal,” said Executive Development Director, David Deegan. “We will be adding new content every week and I hope that businesses find it useful. We would welcome any feedback or suggestions for topics that might be helpful.”
Already companies have welcomed the new materials and advice. Jaguar Land Rover’s Learning Deployment team said: “[this has] stirred up a buzz in the team. I’m sure my team will make use of this during this unusual time we are immersed in.”
Reach Plc’s Learning and Development team said, “Thank you very much for sharing this with us, it’s always good to have access to this kind of content, but even more so at the moment.” And an oil company in Qatar said, “Thank you to Cranfield for the free resources. The material looks of a very good quality.”
Cranfield School of Management has also launched a specialist series through its Bettany Centre to help SMEs. The Business Growth Programme (BGP) is offering free webinars and virtual drop-in clinics as part of the BGP Response Programme. This resource is designed to guide the SME owner-manager through three stages: Triage, Stabilisation and a restoration phase called Bounce Forward.
The initiatives are part of #CranfieldCommunity, a pan-University campaign that highlights the support staff and students are giving to each other and the wider community.
