Our unique facilities support both our education and research. There has been over £100m of recent investment in the Digital Aviation Research and Technology Centre (DARTeC) and the Aerospace Integration Research Centre (AIRC). In addition to our global research airport, we have a 1799m runway, our own aircraft and academic flying staff, aircraft navigation service provider and fuel farm. We additionally house a range of wind tunnels and flight simulators. 

6. Flight experiences
On selected MScs you’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Student Experience Flight and conduct in-flight experiments in the National Flying Laboratory Centre.

This MSc course was interesting and coherent, and the cutting edge technology tailored towards aeronautical industry’s upcoming developments. I had the opportunity to experience new challenges and work on impressively ambitious projects which were highly rewarding. It provided me with the skills and knowledge I needed to start my career, and I found the job I wanted immediately after completing the MSc. Moreover, with brilliant staff and outstanding facilities, Cranfield is a wonderful place to study.

I applied for this course as I wanted to be more refined in the computer software field. Beyond the course, I can apply what I have learned in the modules, so that I can achieve a sense of accomplishment in my study. In addition, there are many choices in the topic of the thesis which combines interest and professionalism.
