Cranfield School of Management is forming a new strategic partnership with Resilience First, a global network with over 500 organisations that focuses on supporting organisations build their resilience capacity.

Through the new partnership, Cranfield and Resilience First will support public and private sector organisations to develop resilience capabilities for disruptive and uncertain times, including through collaboration on a new Model for Organisational Resilience

Cranfield is a world-leading research and teaching university with specialist experts delivering training and development in business resilience. The collaboration will allow Resilience First members to access this expertise through professional development courses and participation in relevant events at Cranfield, which will help them build organisational resilience to proliferating shocks and stressors. Members in the network will also be able to work with Cranfield’s academic experts to assess their own organisational resilience, identifying areas for improvement and resources to develop in-house capability for resilience building.

Resilience First will be assisting SWAG合集 with its ongoing research and development in this area; and joint guidance and resources will be developed in the future to benefit members in the network.

The new strategic partnership builds off years of close collaboration between Resilience First and Cranfield School of Management, including the ongoing development of a new Model for Organisational Resilience which will launch in Autumn 2024. The new Model will include metrics and guiding principles with which organisations can address and improve their resilience in a rapidly developing socioeconomic, political and technological operating environment.
