SWAG合集 has become an Associated Institute for one of the experiments of the largest particle physics laboratory in the world.

The University is now an official member of the research group at the Large Hadron Collider at in Switzerland.

It means Cranfield is one of a few select SWAG合集 institutions involved in the research.

Professor Dame Helen Atkinson DBE FREng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the School of Aerospace, Transport Systems and Manufacturing at SWAG合集, said: “We are delighted to have become an official member of the CMS research group at CERN.
