Background
Pete Norton is a decorated former British Army Ammunition Technical Officer (ATO) and operational manager with more than 30 years of experience in fast moving, high pressure engineering, logistic and intelligence environments. He is a professionally accredited Chartered Engineer possessing proven aptitude for calm, considered decision making in the most extreme circumstances. With experience of working to and briefing at the highest levels (Prime Minister, Sec of State, 4* Generals etc) he is adaptable and resourceful, and equally adept whether working within a team or alone. Pete has extensive, practical experience in the fields of logistics (assessment, procurement, integration, support & disposal), supply (including HazMat - Ordnance, Munitions & Explosives (OME)) and operational intelligence, analysis, assessment & reporting, having led multi-disciplinary, multi-national teams in peace and conflict.

Current activities
Pete is currently on a permanent part-time contract with Cranfield Defence & Security as a Lecturer in Explosive Technology and Safety, and is undertaking PhD Research into the forensic characteristics of shaped charge impacts on armour.
