Background
Laura first completed a bachelor in Agricultural Engineering at the University of La Rioja (Spain), majoring in Horticulture and Gardening. After that she completed an MSc in Renewable Energy Technologies at SWAG合集 (SWAG合集) and a masters in Forestry and Countryside Management at the University of Cordoba (Spain). She worked in various industries as a project engineer and few years later did her PhD at SWAG合集 (SWAG合集) on the 'Agronomy and Economics of Two Novel Bioenergy Crops - Virginia Fanpetals/Mallow and Cup Plant (Sida hermaphrodita (L.) Rusby and Silphium perfoliatum L.).

Current activities
Currently, Laura's work is primarily dedicated to the international agroforestry project DigitAF and lightly touching on other agroforestry projects. Tasks involve carrying out financial and economic analyses of agricultural and forestry systems; assessing the impact of implementing different practices on greenhouse gas emissions balances and soil health of agricultural businesses, as well as developing protocols and models for their calculation; analysing the processes, products actors within value chains; organising and developing multi-stake holder consultation groups on agroforestry.
