The Advanced Casting and Solidification Technologies facility include the CRIMSON Metal Casting Lab and the Rapid Solidification Unit Focuses on developing sustainable metal casting processes as well as developing new metal alloys for sustainable growth including Bulk Metallic Glasses (BMGs), High Entropy Alloys (HEAs), Aluminium alloys, titanium alloys and refractory alloys.
