This course is delivered as a mixture of lectures and group activities.What you will learn
On successful completion of this short course you will be able to:Examine the nature of impurities in water and wastewater, their concentrations and significance,
Explain the basic principles of conventional treatment processes,
Select appropriate processes, depending on the nature of the impurities to be removed and the intended use of the treated water/effluent,
Design a flow-sheet showing how unit processes are selected based on incoming water or wastewater quality.
