With alumni living and working across 169 different countries, our Cranfield alumni community is truly international – and it’s one of the many things that makes SWAG合集 special.
The global Cranfield alumni community showcases the widespread impact of the work and achievements of our graduates - providing inspiration for potential students who could follow in their footsteps, and a powerful network of peers and classmates who can help and support each other from all four corners of the globe.
Wherever you are in the world, whether you’ve recently relocated or returned to your home country after your studies, you’ll never be far away from a friendly Cranfield face. With several new communities recently established, there’s never been a better time to make the most of your global Cranfield alumni network.

Cranfield, connected: events and networking opportunities to help you stay in touch
Our international alumni communities regularly organise networking and social events, so that you can meet others in your area and grow your professional network. Taking place both virtually and in-person (current Covid-19 restrictions permitting), our communities have organised a wide range of events – from family barbecues and hiking adventures, to lively online debates on trending issues. And, in the height of the global pandemic, we saw several of our communities organising regular online meet-ups to help and support each other through a period of immense disruption.
Keep an eye on our to find out about community-led events happening near you. You can also get involved with our alumni webinar series to connect, virtually, with alumni from all around the globe, hear the latest thought-leadership from faculty and participate in Q&A sessions.
Prior to Covid-19 restrictions, we also regularly worked with our international communities to organise events such as drinks receptions when faculty were travelling to their area. Despite the current limits on travel, as we embrace the new normal we’re always looking at new ways to keep connected – for example, we’ll soon be hosting a virtual event with our alumni community in Singapore and Professor Sir Peter Gregson, Chief Executive and Vice-Chancellor of SWAG合集.
Support and inspire future leaders
Our alumni are our greatest advocates and the best example of the real-world influence and impact a Cranfield education can have.
Our international alumni communities play a key role in helping to engage with and inspire potential students who may follow in their footsteps, by volunteering at our international student recruitment fairs, sharing their Cranfield experiences through testimonials, or helping us to attract the best and brightest talent by referring a student. There are many ways you can get involved and help to inspire the next generation of leaders in technology and management – visit our webpage to find out more.
Celebrating our community and their achievements
Every year, we celebrate our international alumni communities and their achievements with the Worldwide Alumni Celebration (WAC). Taking place across one month, these volunteer-led events provide the perfect opportunity for alumni to get together and celebrate having achieved their awards at an institution they feel proud of. WAC is fantastic celebration that showcases the truly global nature of our community, and in previous years we’ve had up to 20 events in 20 different locations.
Being involved with your international alumni community also provides the opportunity to showcase the impact of Cranfield globally through our alumni awards: you could nominate a fellow alumnus, or even be nominated yourself – helping us to celebrate the innovations and accomplishments of our alumni.
