We are currently seeking expressions of interest for one of the School of Management Alumni Vice President roles.
The School of Management Alumni Vice Presidents play a central role in helping the School to maintain productive relationships with its alumni community. Working closely with the Alumni Relations and Development Office, you will work with the Alumni President and the other Vice President to represent the views and interests of alumni, assist in building alumni engagement, and support the School.
The role holder will have a demonstrable commitment to the School of Management and alumni programmes, as evidenced through:
- Event attendance
- Contributions to communications
- Serving as a volunteer, or
- Supporting the School philanthropically.
The Alumni Vice President role is focused on building relationships and developing the Year Representative programme - specifically focused on those Year Representatives from the past five years, to support rankings activity. A full role description can be found here.
Expressions of interest should be provided in a statement of no more than 800 words, explaining why you feel you would be suitable for the role. We will accept expressions of interest until 12pm BST on Friday 16 April, after which applications will be reviewed by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Dean of the School of Management, the School of Management Alumni President, and the Director of Alumni Relations and Development. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to interview in May.
*NB this is a volunteer role, but any reasonable expenses incurred will be reimbursed by the School.
