The Agile Supply Chain Research Club (ASCRC) is Cranfield's flagship in advanced supply chain management research.
Overview
The Agile Supply Chain Research Club (ASCRC), established in 1998, operates within the Centre for Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain Management. Its core aim is to generate knowledge that provides value to our industry partners and supports our teaching initiatives.
Our work is guided by the following principles:
- We focus on addressing critical logistics and supply chain challenges of the 21st century.
- We publish our research in leading logistics and supply chain journals to document our work and share it with to the broader logistics and supply chain community.
- Our research is designed to produce outcomes that are both practical for industry application and valuable in the classroom.
- We are independent and impartial. We withdraw from projects if neutrality is threatened.
In our research and collaboration with industry partners, we uphold the following values:
- Tailor solutions to address specific challenges, recognising that one size does not fit all.
- Conduct research with openness, honesty, and a commitment to preserving the findings’ integrity.
- Prioritise long-term relevance over short-term opportunism.
Who is it for?
Supply chain, procurement and logistics directors and senior supply chain professionals.
