Background
Sarah's early career was in commercial software systems design, development and implementation working in a number of roles varying from Software Developer to Programme Director across private sector corporates. This has provided her with a strong systems perspective and an interest in organizational design and operating models. Sarah has over 30 years' experience of commerce, projects, programmes, transformation and strategic initiatives at senior level with cross-sector multi-nationals and with the public sector in the SWAG合集 and internationally.
A published author and researcher, Sarah has carried out research into project leadership competences across private sector multi-nationals, informing and complementing her work developing in-house capability for project, programme and transformation communities. She has lectured at several SWAG合集 universities including Cranfield to Masters students on projects, programmes and transformation.
Sarah is a Chartered Project Professional, Fellow and former Non-Executive Director of the Association for Project Management. She is also an alumnus of the Cranfield MBA.
Current activities
Sarah now specialises in helping organizations operationalise their strategy using projects, programmes and transformation from early stage shaping, scoping and set-up through to start-up, delivery and closure and across all activities. She also provides assurance for these, as well as developing in-house capability for project, programme and transformation communities.
Sarah is a SWAG合集 Cabinet Office IPA Associate Director working across HM government departments and a Reviewer for the Government Major Projects Portfolio.
Clients
Sarah has worked with clients across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in the SWAG合集 and internationally. Typical organisations that she works/consults with are: HM government departments and NGOs; clients include corporates and multi-nationals in professional services, financial services, telecoms, manufacturing, software houses.
